seamless@centrum
The design experience at Centrum both during and after conception was based on a seamless process which flowed from thought and idea generation to final execution with an ease.
With no sharp demarcation between interiors and architecture the core concept of design as an inspiration and contextual rooted thinking echoes in every aspect from the first brick to the last artwork that adorns the walls.
Elements of the outdoors are carefully brought inside, be it the light or the greenery in small and big measure.
The belief that where light plays a key role, the spaces within are forever alive. They change and transform at different times of the day and at different times of the year like a living being. An attempt to create something so close to nature where change is the only constant, that there is a newness every time you experience Centrum.
There is another aspect of honesty that lends to the seamless design thinking adopted wherein unlike the norm of hospitality design there is minimal wall and ceiling covering and many spaces and places are seen with exposed materials, no wall cladding, no false ceiling.
A careful attention to detailing every single corner of the property was central to this attempt at seamlessness.
