Living spaces at Centrum were inspired by the core theme of natural materials, central art concept and a special attention to detail.
The intent of creating a space that relates to the outside in a manner that is away from a hotel feel but closer to a resort feel with each room opening up into a walk out balcony in most of the rooms.
Locally available materials was the basis of all selections in keeping with the theme of the entire project.
Specially custom designed and crafted furniture was part of the original concept with a feature light that was made by local Chinhat pottery artists for each room brings in the core theme into these rooms.
The artwork concept that sets it apart is Text as art which is interpreted in different forms in every room, text with meaning, since the room is where you can pause and look.
The rooms on the uppermost floor have an additional feature of inverted pots in the ceiling. A feature that was part of the core design concept of bringing in tradition in terms of feeling of space as well as technology and materials. This innovation was something that has a unique presence right through the place and from the construction worker for whom it was something new using materials he was familiar with to the final product as it is experienced was created as a recall.
The soft furnishings were subtly embellished with a hint of the local craftsmanship Chikankari in a modern interpretation with a presence of the brand graphic and logo in fixed furnishings
The suite rooms enjoy a prime location and lavish intertwined spaces with a large walk out space as part of the room.
