Human intervention in nature has become a cause of concern over the years. This project initiated by the Delhi Bird Foundation was to lessen the impact on ground and yet give human beings the eyes to appreciate the beauty of nature. Bird Hide literally means a place to hide and observe birds without disturbing the. This was a project to create a structure built with least damage to the environment using a base structure which was standard and based on the concept of a pre made kit of parts as an assembly.
The first pilot project was built with the Haryana Forest departments backing in Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary in Delhi.
