When a “dhaba” goes “chique’ it presents countless possibilities to innovate and reinterpret familiar elements in a fun quirky way. RDBDU gave precisely that opportunity. Visual and tactile elements from a Country Indian food outlet on a highway and also the highway itself, were used in tangible formats. The Tractor from the mother brand Rang de basanti Dhaba was included in a deconstructed format, but the colour palette and treatment give a completely new feel.
