This home in the heart of South Delhi belonged to a joint family, one of the oldest publishing houses of the city, well travelled and articulate in expressing their needs. The brief was fully loaded, with each member expressing their aspiration in this personal space.
The floor spaces got completely occupied, to fulfil the brief and this pushed the design direction to develop a complete cuboidal mass and deconstruct it to create a form that is interesting. Complete form studies were done and the inspiration came from sliding cuboids placed on top of each other.
