The project was to build a house built on a polo farm with viewing areas and large steps towards the polo grounds. A weekend home with this focal activity and all the ancillary facilities was dynamic to perceive, plan and execute.
The entire structure was built out of steel in sections coming from the client's factory. The kit of parts therefore, were fixed and the design focused on creating a spatial quality of bringing the outdoors inside. Suitable orientation and large fenestrations ensured the place was flooded with natural light and elements like verandahs and balconies were introduced to enjoy the feel of semi open spaces in this setting.
