An iconic building, encapsulating advent of modern architecture in Delhi, has not been renovated in seventy years. A daunting task however small the area. A path of least intervention was chosen to blend into the ethos of the place. Muted choice of materials which matched the existing materials well and a continuity of the architectural sanctity were the guiding factors of this design.
